Upcoming Caps Events

I just got the Caps newsletter, here are some highlights:

Passes are going fast for the Washington Capitals special Draft Day Party and new uniform unveiling on Friday, June 22 at Kettler Capitals Iceplex. The ticketed event includes free skating, Caps player and alumni autographs, interactive games and more, begins at 5:30 p.m.The unveiling ceremony for the team's new uniform will take place around 6:30 p.m., prior to the NHL's Entry Draft, televised live from Columbus, Ohio at 7 p.m. on large screens throughout both rinks. You can get tickets here.
And an event with Brian Pothier, who along with Chris Clark is newly returned from the World Championships in Moscow:
Caps defenseman Brian Pothier will be one of many local professional athletes taking part in the Washington Mystic's "Strike Childhood Obesity," on Wednesday, May 16 at Lucky Strike Lanes inside Gallery Place in downtown D.C. The event, which also features Washington Mystics players and coaches, is a fundraiser benefiting the Saint Louis University's Obesity Prevention Center. The center's obesity intervention program targets elementary schools in the D.C. area and provides them with healthy food, drinks and physical activity.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and includes bowling and dinner for $70 per person. Tickets and additional information about "Strike Childhood Obesity," is available at WashingtonMystics.com
As always, if you go please feel free to pass along any pictures and I will post them here.
